Xieni

A steppe people in the northwest corner of the world, the Xieni have traditionally been described as a nomadic people raiding the southwestern fringes of the Ming, and later the Evyni states. However, their conquest of the southern branches of the Einan led to the nascence of a strong merchantile and agricultural community. Paying taxes to the steppe nomads for protection, the united kingdom survived for quite some time by playing its most dangerous rival, the Evyni Empire, off of the southern Satar states. In the end, however, the Evyni were destroyed by the Karapeshai Exatai, and the Xieni decided to join the Exatai as a new princedom, retaining a great deal of autonomy.
