Tabares is a minor country, a successor to the Leunan Empire in north-central Auona. Founded after the destruction of the larger empire by the Republic of the Daharai, Tabares is populated mostly by farmers and herdsmen, and has rarely acted aggressively toward any of its neighbors, instead preferring peace. It is notable as the location of the tomb of the third Aitah.
