The Szahae (Jadhai) is one of the largest deserts in the known world. Home to the formerly nomadic Nahsjad tribes, it is now the heart of the expansionist Sira. The River Peko cuts a green line through its golden sands, and a great salty lake called the Jaud Narah by the natives lies somewhere within its trackless depths.
Various cultures have occupied the margins of this desert, but none but the Nahsjad and a few caravans have ever traveled into the mysterious interior. Those few who have ventured there have reported finding nothing but the Azadi Arch.
