The Kbirilma is a body of water on the northern shore of the Nakalani (or world ocean), generally regarded as being located between Spitos and the mainland. Some definitions extend the sea southwards into the Bay of Spitos all the way to the Chimoai Islands.
No matter your definition, the Kbrilma occupies a considerable role in late Bronze Age history, being relatively sheltered against the harsh storms of the Nakalani, and offering safe routes for thousands of ancient mariners, particularly those of the Arta Xorti and the early Opulensi. Plying its waters at will, the Arta Xorti in particular expanded from their homeland in Dinyart (an island in the center of the sea) to every shore, until finally overtaken by their Opulensi counterparts. Now, its waters were a point of contention between the Opulensi Empire and the Dual Empire to the north. Both powers eventually fell, to be replaced by the Republic of the Daharai, and the Halyrate -suppoted Nahari Empire respectively. Only time will tell of ancient tensions will rise agian.
